FlyRight to move King Air C90A simulator to Brazil for training
North Carolina-based FlyRight is sending its Beechcraft King Air C90A full flight simulator to EPA Training Center in Brazil, with training expected to start in the second quarter of 2027.

FlyRight plans to move a Beechcraft King Air simulator from its Part 142 flight training center in Concord, North Carolina, to Brazil starting in November. The company said the device is a King Air C90A Level C full flight simulator and will go to EPA Training Center, which it described as the largest regional aircraft training center in Latin America.
Training sessions in Brazil are planned to begin in the second quarter of 2027, depending on the simulator completing transit, installation, testing and certification, according to the company.
FlyRight said it expects formal certification from Brazil's civil aviation agency, ANAC, for pilot training by early next year. The relocation is meant to meet South American demand for turboprop simulation, the company said. The device will provide motion-based initial and recurrent training for domestic and multinational corporate operators.
EPA chief executive Flávio Farias said the simulator would give pilots and operators in Brazil access to instruction in Portuguese without traveling abroad, meaning more safety, lower costs and less time away from operations.
Andy Bauer, FlyRight's vice president of sales and marketing, said the move would let the company make better use of its North Carolina training capacity while serving corporate and regional aviation in Brazil.
FlyRight is based at Concord-Padgett Regional Airport, a reliever field for Charlotte-Douglas International. The center runs initial, recurrent and custom pilot training on turboprop aircraft, including the King Air series, the Cessna Caravan and the de Havilland Dash 8.
