Geneva Airport generated CHF 3.3 billion in economic value in 2024

Geneva Airport generated economic value of approximately CHF 3.3 billion and supported 21,930 full-time jobs in 2024, according to a study by the consultancy Infras. Around 268 companies operating directly at the airport produced CHF 1.66 billion in value added.

Nearly CHF 2 billion of the total was generated in the canton of Geneva. Over CHF 550 million came from neighbouring France, and about CHF 770 million from elsewhere in Switzerland. The study also estimated that 2.9 million tourists who arrived via the airport in 2024 contributed around CHF 1.7 billion in value added.
