Iran plans aid package for airlines to repair war damage
Iran's transport ministry says it will support airlines and the aviation sector in repairing war damage, with infrastructure and fleet given priority in reconstruction plans.

Iran's transport ministry says the government will help airlines and the wider aviation sector deal with war damage. Transport Minister Farzaneh Sadegh announced aid packages and special financing arrangements at a meeting with the heads of Iranian carriers.
Damage to aviation facilities and systems has already been folded into the state reconstruction programme, and a working group will be set up to collect the airlines' problems and track how they are resolved.
The meeting covered the effects of recent conflicts and sanctions, along with insurance, tax and customs questions. Sadegh said infrastructure and fleet would get priority in the reconstruction effort.
