Japan Airlines will open refurbished domestic lounges in Terminal 1's north wing at Tokyo Haneda on 8 October, including a renamed first class lounge with more seating.

Japan Airlines will open its renovated domestic lounges in the north wing of Terminal 1 at Tokyo Haneda on 8 October.

The existing Diamond Premier Lounge is being renamed the JAL First Class Lounge. It has around 40 percent more seats than before, divided into areas for eating, relaxing and working.

The Sakura Lounge, used by business class passengers, has also been redesigned, gaining new work and rest areas and a dedicated space for children.

Both lounges feature regional art and food from different parts of Japan. Work on the south wing lounges is to begin gradually afterwards.
