Japan Airlines extends Embraer parts and maintenance agreement
Japan Airlines and Embraer have extended an existing contract covering maintenance and spare parts supply for 32 Embraer E170 and E190 aircraft. The Brazilian manufacturer said the E-Jet fleet recorded an average technical dispatch reliability of 99.8 percent over the past six months.

Japan Airlines and Embraer have extended a contract covering maintenance and spare parts for 32 Embraer E170 and E190 aircraft by several years.
The pool programme has the Brazilian manufacturer supplying spare parts and handling repairs for a large number of components. A parts stock near flight operations is meant to speed supply and cut outages.
Embraer says the E-Jet fleet averaged 99.8 percent technical dispatch reliability over the past six months.
J-Air, the regional subsidiary, has flown the aircraft on routes within Japan since 2008.
