Jetstar ground staff escalate industrial action at Australian airports
Union members at Jetstar's Australian airport operations have widened their industrial action amid stalled wage and conditions talks, including work stoppages and fee waivers.

Ground staff at Jetstar at major Australian airports have widened industrial action, the Australian Services Union says. Members started on Friday and continued through the weekend, declining non-essential duties that include routine passenger announcements and tasks tied to delays and cancellations.
Some fees are again not being charged, among them excess baggage, late arrival and seat changes. The union also plans one-hour work stoppages.
The action follows stalled negotiations between the union and Jetstar over pay and working conditions.
