Korean Air to migrate Asiana bookings to KE flight numbers from November
Korean Air will begin converting Asiana Airlines bookings and flight numbers to its own codes in November, ahead of an integrated carrier launch on 17 December.

Korean Air will begin moving Asiana Airlines bookings and flight numbers onto its own codes in November, the carrier says. Existing Asiana reservations will be converted from OZ to KE flight numbers between 2 November and 3 December, step by step. Passengers holding tickets for flights from 17 December onwards are affected.
That is the date the combined airline is due to launch officially, when Asiana flights pass into Korean Air's operation. Korean Air said the gradual migration is meant to avoid technical problems and disruption for passengers.
Travellers affected will be told individually before departure about their new flight and ticket details, by SMS, messaging services and email.
