LATAM Airlines Brasil has formally received its first Embraer E195-E2, the start of a fleet plan tied to an order announced in September 2025 for up to 74 of the type.

LATAM Airlines Brasil has taken delivery of its first Embraer E195-E2. The airline said the aircraft is the start of a fleet plan built around regional routes and a wider domestic footprint in Brazil.
The order was announced in September 2025, when LATAM Airlines Group disclosed it would take up to 74 aircraft of the model. This first jet belongs to an initial batch of 12 E195-E2s due by the end of 2026. Another 12 are planned for 2027.
LATAM said its Brazilian network has grown from 44 airports six years ago to 63 today. Chief executive Jerome Cadier said the E195-E2 was chosen to keep expanding in Brazil in a sustainable way, linking new markets with strong demand and economic potential to the group's global network. The airline expects to pass 70 airports served in Brazil as soon as 2027.
Embraer chief executive Francisco Gomes Neto said the manufacturer was proud to complete the first E195-E2 for LATAM Airlines Brasil. He said the aircraft would play a significant role in the carrier's strategy to expand connectivity, citing efficiency, operational flexibility and comfort.
The first E195-E2s for the airline are to begin operating on regional routes and destinations.
