LATAM to launch nonstop Santiago–Caracas service in January 2027
LATAM Airlines will begin direct flights between Santiago de Chile and Caracas on 3 January 2027, operating four times a week with Airbus A320neo aircraft. The route adds to the carrier's existing Bogotá–Caracas link.

LATAM Airlines announced a new nonstop route between Santiago, Chile, and Caracas, Venezuela, starting 3 January 2027. The service will run four times a week.
The flights will use Airbus A320neo aircraft in a two-class layout with 174 seats: 12 in Economy Premium and 162 in Economy.
Schedules published by the airline list flight LA644 departing Santiago at 14:30 and arriving in Caracas at 20:10. The return, LA645, leaves Caracas at 22:30 and reaches Santiago at 06:00 the following day. Both directions operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, with times given in local zones.
Juan José Tohá, LATAM Airlines Group's director of corporate affairs and sustainability, said the link strengthens Venezuela's connections to the group's main South American hubs and adds to the existing Caracas–Bogotá operation.
That Bogotá–Caracas route is flown by LATAM Airlines Colombia with one daily flight. Together the two services form the group's current offering to Venezuela.
LATAM said tickets for the new nonstop pair will go on sale through its commercial channels. The group currently lists 164 destinations across 27 countries on four continents.
