Lufthansa Cargo adds emergency priority service for urgent freight
Lufthansa Cargo has introduced an add-on service called Emergency that gives time-critical shipments top transport priority, regardless of the product originally booked.
Lufthansa Cargo has added an option called Emergency for freight where time is critical. Shipments booked under it get the highest transport priority, no matter which product was originally chosen.
The service can be booked at short notice, up to the applicable acceptance deadline and within the flight's maximum cargo capacity. It is available at more than 200 stations across the Lufthansa Group network.
Those shipments receive special monitoring throughout transport. At the Frankfurt, Munich and Vienna hubs, a dedicated monitoring arrangement applies as well. A customer service line is reachable around the clock.
Emergency also carries a money-back guarantee under the applicable conditions.
