Mahan Air suspends Iran–Turkey flights from September 21
Iranian carrier Mahan Air says it will halt its services between Tehran and Istanbul and between Tehran and Ankara from 21 September until further notice, citing a decision by Turkish aviation authorities.
Mahan Air will stop flying between Iran and Turkey from 21 September until further notice. The Iranian airline said the decision came from Turkish aviation authorities.
The routes affected are Tehran–Istanbul and Tehran–Ankara, in both directions. The last flights on these sectors are scheduled for 20 September.
Mahan Air did not give further details on why the services are being suspended. The airline's statement did not address the reason for the Turkish decision.
