Marabu Airlines has said it will add two Airbus A320neo aircraft to its fleet in 2027, bringing the carrier to 14 of the type. The expansion follows growth from eight aircraft in 2025 to twelve in 2026, according to the airline. The figure remains slightly below the 15 aircraft that then-chief executive Axel Schefe had set as a fleet target for summer 2026 in 2025.

The airline is also widening its summer 2027 programme with two new destinations. Lamezia Terme in southern Italy will be served from Nuremberg twice a week, on Mondays and Thursdays. Preveza in Greece will be flown from Nuremberg once a week, on Saturdays.

From 1 May 2027, Marabu will raise checked baggage allowances in the relevant Economy Class fares from 20 to 23 kilograms. In Business Class, passengers will be able to check two pieces of up to 32 kilograms each. The current allowance is one piece of up to 30 kilograms.

Marabu is a sister carrier of Condor.
