Minneapolis-St. Paul tops North America airport satisfaction study again
Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport ranked first among mega airports in the 2026 J.D. Power North America Airport Satisfaction Study, its third straight year at the top. Detroit Metropolitan and Phoenix Sky Harbor placed second and third.

Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport ranks first among North America's mega airports for the third straight year in the 2026 J.D. Power North America Airport Satisfaction Study, with a score of 684 out of 1,000. It is the fourth time in five years the airport has topped the category.
Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport placed second with 663 points, and Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport third with 642.
According to the results, Minneapolis-St. Paul finished first across all seven dimensions the study measures.
The rankings cover the mega airport category, the largest tier in the survey, which gauges passenger satisfaction at North American airports.
