NetJets files plans for private terminal near Austin-Bergstrom

NetJets plans to build a private terminal near Austin-Bergstrom International Airport in Texas, according to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. The filing indicates construction could begin in January 2027 and finish by June 2028.

The 8,000-square-foot facility, named the Signature Aviation Terminal Project for Netjets, would also include 106,000 square feet of airside ramp space and a parking area, at an estimated cost of $19.5 million. The site is at 2500E State Highway 71, near Austin-Bergstrom, which the filing calls one of the busiest airports in the country for private jets. Signature Aviation would own the building, and NetJets would occupy it.

HDg Architecture of Orlando, Florida, is listed as the designer. Its portfolio includes commercial and fixed-base operator terminals, corporate and maintenance hangars, VIP lounges, control towers and ground support equipment upkeep buildings.

NetJets already operates private terminals in New York, New Jersey, Florida, California, Arizona, Colorado, Ohio and Montana, with more planned at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas and Augusta Regional Airport in Georgia.
