Norse Atlantic to wet-lease two Boeing 787-9s to Pakistan International Airlines
Norse Atlantic will supply two Boeing 787-9s to Pakistan International Airlines under a wet-lease agreement starting in early November 2026, with PIA aiming to add long-haul capacity between the UK and Pakistan.

Norse Atlantic has reached an agreement to wet-lease two Boeing 787-9s to Pakistan International Airlines, the Norwegian carrier confirmed. The aircraft are due to enter service with PIA at the beginning of November 2026.
Under the arrangement, Norse Atlantic will provide the Dreamliners along with crew, maintenance and insurance.
PIA intends to use the aircraft to expand its long-haul capacity between the United Kingdom and Pakistan. The Pakistani carrier's current long-haul fleet consists of Boeing 777-200 and 777-300ER aircraft.
