ONEflight halts charter bookings amid review of its operations

ONEflight International, a private jet charter broker, has stopped arranging flights while it carries out a review of its operations. The Colorado-based company confirmed the suspension of service on September 16, 2026. A notice on its website said the pause would run for 30 days, or until the company says otherwise, according to an account of the notice published by Private Jet Card Comparisons.

The same publication put the possible exposure to customers at more than $150 million in prepaid flying. That number is an estimate of money that could be at risk rather than a confirmed loss, and it was calculated from the company's sales volume.

ONEflight's chief executive, Ferren Rajput, told the publication that the company does not keep customer money in escrow. The broker sells jet cards and books charter flights with third-party operators. Customers pay in advance for travel, and ONEflight pays those operators to fly.

The suspension comes after earlier accounts of payment problems and attempts to reduce costs. Private Jet Card Comparisons had previously quoted operators who said the broker was behind on payments, while other operators reported no such difficulties. An internal email obtained by the publication acknowledged that the company had financial and operational problems. Rajput said spending is being cut on celebrity ambassadors and marketing after a period of heavy investment in the brand.

ONEflight reported revenue of $232 million for 2025, an increase of 90 percent on the year before. Its advertising has used businessman Robert Herjavec and John Elway, the former NFL quarterback.

In August 2026 the company announced a 35 percent surcharge on reservations made by customers holding contracted rates, citing higher costs in the industry. It dropped the surcharge hours later after customers objected.

Rival charter companies have moved to court ONEflight's customers, offering incentives to those affected by the suspension.
