Oneworld members sign Buckingham Palace Declaration on wildlife trafficking

All 15 Oneworld member airlines have joined the Buckingham Palace Declaration, committing to fight the illegal trade in wildlife and protected species.

Oneworld and its 15 member airlines have signed the Buckingham Palace Declaration, committing to fight illegal trade in wildlife and protected species. The alliance said no other airline grouping has joined collectively.

Royal Jordanian signed in Brussels on 16 October 2026, which completed accession for all member carriers. United for Wildlife launched the declaration in 2016.

The airlines will tighten checks on passenger and cargo operations, train staff to spot suspicious shipments, and share information more closely with customs authorities, law enforcement and conservation organisations.
