Pobeda faces procurement irregularities allegations

Russian media reports say Pobeda's internal economic security department found significant irregularities in the airline's procurement practices during 2025. The carrier carried out 623 procurement procedures worth 138.1 billion rubles, but only 92 were competitive. The issues cited included large advance payments for aircraft parts that were never delivered and connections between suppliers and airline employees.

According to the reports, the internal security unit later had its oversight powers restricted and was ultimately dissolved as an independent entity. A review by parent company Aeroflot confirmed the violations. Law enforcement agencies are now looking into the matter.
