Protests in southern Italy threaten fuel supply at four airports
Worker protests linked to the former Ilva steelworks in Taranto could disrupt jet fuel deliveries to four airports in southern Italy, with a notice to airmen in force until 14 October.

Protests by employees of the former Ilva steelworks in Taranto could cause jet fuel shortages at four airports in southern Italy: Bari, Brindisi, Foggia and Taranto-Grottaglie.
The demonstrations are also affecting the Eni refinery in Taranto, according to the airport operator Aeroporti di Puglia, which could limit kerosene supply to the four airports. A notice to airmen covering the situation is initially valid until 14 October at 12:00.
