Ryanair shareholders pushed back against CEO Michael O'Leary's new pay package at the airline's annual general meeting, where 39 percent voted against it and 61 percent supported it, according to Airline Economics.

The plan, agreed in June and running until April 2032, gives O'Leary an option to buy ten million Ryanair shares at 26.70 euros each if he remains with the company and meets performance targets. It could be worth at least 150 million euros.

Ryanair said it will discuss the reasons for the level of dissent with shareholders.
