Singapore Airlines plans to broaden its codeshare agreement with Lufthansa to cover the Frankfurt–Kuala Lumpur route beginning October 25, according to the report.

Under the arrangement, flights on the route will carry Singapore Airlines flight numbers in addition to those of Lufthansa, once the change takes effect with the start of the winter 2026/27 flight schedule.

Lufthansa currently operates the route five times a week using Boeing 787-9 aircraft, according to the aviation data portal Aero Routes, which was cited as the source of the scheduling details.

The move extends an existing codeshare relationship between the two carriers to additional long-haul markets. No further details on pricing, connecting itineraries, or reciprocal arrangements on other routes were disclosed in the available information.
