SkyUp to launch Chisinau-London and Chisinau-Dubai flights via Moldovan subsidiary
Ukrainian carrier SkyUp Airlines will add services from Moldova's capital to Dubai and London Stansted, operated by its Moldova-based subsidiary Sky Up Nistru.

SkyUp Airlines intends to open two routes from Chisinau, Moldova's capital, using its Moldovan subsidiary Sky Up Nistru. Dubai flights will start in late December at twice a week, increasing to three weekly frequencies on 8 January, the carrier said. The London Stansted service, also twice weekly, is to begin on 26 March 2027.
Sky Up Nistru will operate the flights on SkyUp's behalf with Boeing 737-700 aircraft under the '4V' designator code. The Moldovan company previously flew as Vision Air and rebranded earlier this year, obtaining an updated air operator's certificate covering scheduled and charter flights under the SkyUp brand.
SkyUp also runs European Union services through a Maltese arm, SkyUp MT, which holds the 'U5' designator code. The airline said its partnership with Sky Up Nistru has let it extend the Chisinau network beyond the EU to destinations including London, Dubai, Georgia, Turkiye and Israel, and that all non-Schengen routes are flown under the Sky Up Nistru certificate.
SkyUp has not been able to operate from Ukrainian territory since Russia's full-scale invasion in 2022.
