Southwest to launch three seasonal Nashville routes in summer 2027

Southwest plans three new seasonal services from Nashville for summer 2027, part of a broader expansion that also includes seven added routes from Austin.

Southwest will add three seasonal routes out of Nashville, Tennessee, for the summer of 2027.

The airline said Friday it will link Nashville to Boise, Idaho; Nassau in the Bahamas; and Providenciales in the Turks and Caicos Islands. It did not give start dates or how often the flights will operate.

The move was announced on the same day Southwest set out plans to grow in Austin, Texas, with seven additional domestic and international routes.

Nashville is already a substantial base for the carrier, which flies from there to points in the United States as well as Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean. Southwest established a crew base at the airport in 2024, and a new lounge is under construction.

The airline also intends to bring back seasonal flights between Nashville and Bozeman, Montana, and Portland, Oregon.
