Swedavia to cut about 125 jobs in reorganisation
Sweden's state-owned airport operator Swedavia is restructuring to cut costs, with roughly 125 posts affected, most of them at its Stockholm head office.
Swedavia, which runs Sweden's airports and is owned by the state, is reorganising to cut costs. About 125 positions are affected, including roles that are already vacant. The company has announced a planned reduction of 95 jobs, falling mainly on the head office in Stockholm.
Swedavia says the changes are meant to shorten decision-making paths and shift its focus toward running airports, and to strengthen Stockholm-Arlanda as an international hub. It operates ten airports in Sweden and has around 2,800 employees.
The restructuring starts immediately and is due to be completed by the end of the year.
