Tarmac Aerosave to dismantle more A320neo and 737 Max jets

Tarmac Aerosave is preparing to dismantle and recycle more than 10 additional aircraft in the coming months, including Boeing 737 Max and Airbus A320neo jets. The company says the move responds to strong demand for spare parts from the re-engined narrowbody families.

The French firm, which also has facilities in Spain, is reinforcing its collaboration with asset management partner AerFin. It has set up a dedicated organisation and processing line to handle specific requirements such as landing-gear and cabin equipment removal. Chief commercial officer Christian Ceruti said the dedicated organisation allows the company to respond with the responsiveness the high-demand market requires.

Tarmac Aerosave has previously recycled A320neos sourced from AerFin, including aircraft from defunct Indian carrier Go First. AerFin chief operating officer Simon Bayliss said the latest programme reflects the strength of the partnership and the value it creates as demand for new-generation aircraft material grows.

Neither company identified the source of the latest jets or confirmed engine models. All 737 Max aircraft are fitted with CFM International Leap-1B engines.
