Three dead in PAC P-750 XSTOL crash in Papua New Guinea
A PAC P-750 XSTOL operated by Niugini Aviation Services crashed near Simbai, Papua New Guinea, killing all three people on board.

Three people died when a PAC P-750 XSTOL crashed in Papua New Guinea on Monday, September 7. The aircraft, registered P2-RNA and operated by Niugini Aviation Services, was flying from Mount Hagen to Simbai when an emergency signal was received about 6.7 kilometres southeast of the destination. Rescue teams found the wreckage near the signal's position. Bad weather stopped a helicopter from landing, so a team walked to the crash site. The accident investigation authority has opened an inquiry and expects to publish a preliminary report within 30 days.
