United Airlines adds nonstop Newark flights to several smaller European cities

United Airlines has unveiled new transatlantic routes from Newark Liberty International Airport, expanding its European network to smaller cities that have not previously had direct US service. Among the additions are flights to Ibiza, Ljubljana, Luxembourg, Marseille, Toulouse and Valencia.

The airline said it will be the only US carrier offering scheduled nonstop service to each of these destinations. The announcement is part of a wider set of eleven new and returning European routes unveiled this week. It reflects United's continued push to broaden its transatlantic offering beyond the usual major hubs.
