Value Jet prepares to take delivery of third Boeing 737-800

Nigerian carrier Value Jet is set to add a third Boeing 737-800 to its fleet, with the aircraft currently being moved from storage in the United States.

Nigeria's Value Jet is preparing to add a third Boeing 737-800, the carrier said.

The aircraft, twelve years old, is registered 5N-CFY, serial number 36905. It was ferried from Marana to Miami on 11 September. Delivered new to Southwest Airlines in 2014, it is configured with 175 seats in a single class.

A second 737-800, 5N-CGA, is also awaiting delivery. The first, 5N-CFZ, arrived with the airline on 5 August but has not yet entered service.
