Vietjet Air has broadened its servicing arrangement with Collins Aerospace to cover more of its Airbus A320neo family fleet.

RTX, Collins Aerospace's parent company, said on October 12, 2026, that the amended contract brings 44 additional GTF-powered A320neo family jets into the FlightSense programme. Work under the agreement covers components and technical support.

RTX described FlightSense as giving guaranteed availability of parts, less time on the ground and more predictable costs, which it said would improve how reliably the airline's fleet performs. Jen Latka, Collins Aerospace's vice president of aftermarket for power and controls, said the programme would let Vietjet convert operational data from its A320neo and A321XLR aircraft into forecasts of maintenance needs.

Collins Aerospace has previously signed FlightSense contracts with All Nippon Airways, Singapore Airlines and Royal Brunei Airlines.

Michael Hickey, Vietjet's chief commercial officer, said the expanded arrangement would support the carrier's engineering management and daily operations while helping set up its plans to grow its fleet and network.

Fleet data from ch-aviation shows Vietjet flying 27 A321neos at present, with 165 more still to arrive, and 20 A321XLRs on order. RTX describes FlightSense as a support programme covering the whole life of an aircraft, built on Collins' Ascentia analytics platform, which carriers use to study data, plan maintenance and run their fleets.

Earlier, in February 2026, Vietjet and Pratt & Whitney said the airline had chosen a further 44 GTF-powered Airbus A320neo family aircraft, made up of 24 A321neos and 20 A321XLRs.
