Vini opens Frankfurt-Egelsbach to demand-based regional flights
The regional flight platform Vini has added Frankfurt-Egelsbach as a new point where travellers and companies can register demand for connections to five destinations.
Vini has expanded its regional air links platform to Frankfurt-Egelsbach, the company says. Travellers and businesses can register interest there for flights to Sylt, Antwerp, Hamburg, Bremen and Berlin-Schönhagen, and request the connections.
The model pools demand for possible regional routes instead of running a conventional timetable. Vini had already run test weeks and first connections around Bern, Munich, Mannheim, Berlin and Karlsruhe.
Flights are to use a Cessna Grand Caravan EX or a Dornier Do 228.
