Wizz Air plans to expand its base at Yerevan Airport to four Airbus A321 aircraft, with a third and fourth aircraft to be stationed there later this year. The budget carrier is also launching three new routes from the Armenian capital to Valencia, Varna, and Basel/Mulhouse/Freiburg. The EuroAirport service begins on December 18 with three weekly flights. The expansion brings Wizz Air's network from Armenia to 21 routes across 14 countries. The airline also intends to increase frequencies on existing routes, including Prague and Memmingen.
