Flydubai to launch freighter operations with three wet-leased Boeing 737-800s
Flydubai will begin dedicated freighter services on October 1, 2026, using three Boeing 737-800 freighters wet-leased from Solitair, each with a payload of 23,000 kilograms.

Flydubai will start its own freighter operations on October 1, 2026. It is taking three Boeing 737-800 freighters on a wet-lease from Solitair. Each aircraft has a payload of 23,000 kilograms. Dubai World Central airport will serve as the cargo hub.
The new freighters supplement belly cargo capacity on Flydubai's 98 Boeing 737 passenger aircraft. Future capacity will come from 30 Boeing 787s on order, and a possible conversion of passenger aircraft to freighters starting in 2029. The airline plans scheduled and charter flights across its network of more than 125 destinations.
