World2Fly started regular service in Argentina with a direct route between Madrid and Rosario, the first direct link between the two cities. The airline began the operation on Thursday.

The authorization came through a new bilateral framework between Argentina and Spain, under the country's open-skies and air-sector deregulation policy, which let the carrier run scheduled international passenger and cargo services.

The route is flown twice a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with Airbus A350-900 aircraft. The airline has fitted the cabin in a single high-density layout with 432 seats, which the carrier says makes it the highest-capacity commercial aircraft flying anywhere in Argentina.

World2Fly joins a crowded Argentina–Spain market that already includes Iberia, Air Europa, LEVEL, Plus Ultra and Aerolíneas Argentinas. Existing services connect Ezeiza with Madrid and Barcelona, along with a direct link from Córdoba to the Spanish capital.

Between January and August 2026, about 1,034,574 passengers flew commercially between the two countries, an increase of 7% year on year, according to the article.
