Zurich Airport reports record first-half profit on passenger growth

Zurich Airport Ltd. posted the best first-half performance in its history, the company said, as growing passenger traffic lifted revenue across its operations in the first six months of 2026.

Total revenue rose 5% to CHF 673.6 million compared with the same period a year earlier. Aviation revenue, which includes charges tied to flights and passengers, increased by the same margin, to CHF 345.2 million. Non-aviation revenue, covering retail, real estate and other commercial activities, also grew 5%, reaching CHF 328.4 million.

The airport operator attributed the gains largely to higher passenger volumes during the period, though it did not disclose exact traffic figures in the material reviewed. Aviation and non-aviation revenue grew at the same rate, which suggests flight-related charges and commercial activities at the airport benefited about equally from the rise in travellers passing through.
