Recent report synopses

  • 2010-12 ZJX Controller described a confused routing event allegedly caused by a unnecessary URET re-route; unnoticed by the Controller's involved. The ALERT functionality was inaccurate.
  • 2010-12 An Air Carrier crew experienced a runway incursion as they crossed the PIT Runway 10C hold short line at Taxiway W and immediately notified ATC when they realized the error. Poor runway markings were cited as contributing to the human error.
  • 2010-12 EMB500 Captain experiences in flight CAS warning for brake failure. Upon landing brakes are found to function normally.
