What happened
On May 15, 2008, at approximately 1200 UTC, a Cessna 210L, registered as VH-IDM, collided with terrain near Abingdon Downs, Queensland, Australia. The aircraft had departed from Karumba, Australia, to perform an aerial survey mission. Following the departure, the aircraft failed to return to its origin as scheduled.
The pilot, who was the sole occupant of the aircraft, sustained 1 fatal injury.
