What happened
On June 10, 2008, at approximately 1200 UTC, a chartered Cessna 210, registration 5Y-BVE, was operating a domestic flight from Nairobi to Narok, Kenya. While en route, the aircraft collided with high terrain near Nairegi Enkera.
At the time of the accident, the aircraft was operating under visual flight rules, but the area was experiencing instrument meteorological conditions (IMC) due to low visibility. The impact resulted in 4 fatal injuries to the pilot and three passengers. The aircraft was destroyed upon impact, though no fire was reported.
