Accident Details
On December 29, 2008, a Sikorsky S-76 helicopter with Brazilian registration PR-IME sustained substantial damage due to a fire after a forced landing in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The incident began shortly after departure when the flight crew observed an AC generator light. They initiated a return to the departure airport.
