Incident Overview
On March 23, 2010, at 13:17 UTC, a Federal Express MD-11 aircraft, registered as N612FE, declared an emergency and diverted to Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport (LHBP) in Hungary. The diversion was prompted by a low fuel indication while the aircraft was en route from Dubai, United Arab Emirates, to Paris, France.
Crew and Safety
There were three crew members on board. No injuries were reported. The aircraft did not carry any hazardous materials.
Post-Flight Indication
After landing, the fuel indication returned to normal readings.
