On August 25, 2013, an incident occurred in Luton, United Kingdom, involving an Airbus A300B4-622R operated by Federal Express Corp. The aircraft, registered as N721FD, was the subject of an investigation by the Air Accidents Investigation Branch (AAIB) of the United Kingdom.
Under the provisions of ICAO Annex 13, the NTSB appointed a U.S. Accredited Representative to assist the AAIB investigation in its capacity as the State of the Operator. There were no injuries reported in relation to this event.
