Incident Overview
On April 1, 2011, in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, a twin-engine CASA C-212 Aviocar 200, registration C-FDKM, encountered a problem with its right engine. The crew reported the issue and initiated an air turn-back. Approximately 12 minutes later, the left engine also lost power. While attempting an emergency landing without power, the aircraft struck a concrete barrier.
Occupants and Injuries
One occupant was killed in the accident. The pilot and first officer survived with injuries.
