Incident Notification
On March 1, 2013, an incident occurred involving a Boeing 737-300 aircraft. The United Kingdom's Air Accidents Investigations Branch (AAIB) notified the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) of this event.
Investigation Process
In accordance with the provisions of ICAO Annex 13, the NTSB appointed a U.S. Accredited Representative to assist the AAIB in the investigation. The NTSB serves in this capacity as the State of Manufacturer and Design of the Boeing 737-300. The AAIB, as the investigating authority, will release all investigative information pertaining to the incident. The AAIB will conduct the investigation with the assistance of the NTSB.
