What happened
On February 9, 2014, at approximately 1330 UTC, a Cessna 210N, registered as PT-OMX, was performing an approach to Sitio Flyer Airport (SIHJ) in Palmas, State of Tocantins, Brazil. The aircraft, which had departed from Dona Iracema Airport (SJQZ) in Porto Nacional, Brazil, experienced a loss of engine power. Following the power loss, the aircraft impacted the terrain, resulting in 3 fatal injuries to the pilot and two passengers.
