What happened
On March 13, 2014, a Cessna T188C, registered as HC-BTA, was conducting an aerial application flight departing from Canton Naranjal, Province of Guayas, Ecuador. During the flight, the aircraft experienced a loss of engine power, which resulted in the aircraft impacting the terrain near Canton Naranjal. Following the impact, a post-accident fire occurred. The pilot sustained 1 minor injury and there were 0 fatalities.
