What happened

On June 5, 2014, a Jabiru J230-SP, registration N752J, was performing a takeoff from a turf runway in Middleton, Wisconsin. During the takeoff roll, the pilot was unable to maintain directional control of the aircraft due to the soft condition of the runway surface. As a result, the aircraft struck a runway edge marker.
