What happened

On September 4, 2014, a Mooney M-20 entered the active MATZ airspace of the EPPW military aerodrome. Air traffic controllers at EPPW APP identified the presence of the aircraft within the controlled zone. Despite multiple attempts by the controller to establish radio communication with the pilot, no response was received from the aircraft.

Due to the lack of contact, the air traffic controller notified FIS Poznań and APP Poznań regarding the unauthorized airspace infringement.
