What happened
On December 13, 2015, at approximately 0826 UTC, a Hawker Beech A3 3TC, registration RA-2587G, crashed near Suvorovskaya Village, Stavropolsky Kray, Russia. The flight was a non-commercial operation from Myrny Airstrip in Kislovodsk City to Buzuluk, Russia. No flight plan had been filed for the flight.
After departing Myrny Airstrip, the pilot climbed to an altitude of roughly 2,500 feet above ground level and headed north toward the Bogurustan mountain range. While crossing the mountains, the aircraft encountered instrument meteorological conditions (IMC). Witnesses observed the aircraft enter a nose-down pitch attitude before striking the terrain. The engine was heard running prior to the impact. The aircraft was destroyed upon impact and a post-crash fire occurred. There were 4 fatal injuries involving the pilot and three passengers.
