What happened
On April 15, 2017, a BAE Jetstream J32, registration HK4820, was performing a flight from Tolu to Medellin, Colombia, operated by Aerolinea de Antioquia ADA. During the flight, the aircraft experienced a loss of power from the No. 2 engine, which was a Honeywell TPE331 turbopropeller.
The crew shut down the engine while in flight and diverted the aircraft to Monteria, Colombia. The landing was completed without further incident. There were no injuries resulting from this event.
