Incident Details
On April 15, 2017, a BAE Jetstream J32 aircraft, Colombian registration HK4820, operated by Aerolinea de Antioquia ADA (ADA), experienced a loss of power from the No. 2 engine while on a scheduled flight from Tolu to Medellin, Colombia. The engine, a Honeywell TPE331 turbopropeller, lost power in flight, prompting the flight crew to shut it down. The crew subsequently diverted the aircraft to Monteria, Colombia, where a landing was performed without further incident.
