What happened
On August 27, 2017, at approximately 20:52 UTC, a Cessna T210M, registered as YV2594, experienced a loss of engine power while operating near Ciudad Bolivar, Venezuela. The aircraft had departed from Uriman Airport (SVUM) and was en route to Tomas de Heressa Airport (SVCB).
Following the loss of power, the pilot performed a forced landing, which resulted in substantial damage to the aircraft. The accident resulted in 1 fatality and 4 serious injuries among the pilot and three passengers.
