What happened
On September 11, 2017, at approximately 1400 UTC, a Britten Norman BN2-A, registration YV-1441, was performing a landing at San Salvador de Paul in Ciudad Bolivar, Venezuela. The aircraft had departed from Tomas de Heres (SVCB) in Ciudad Bolivar prior to the incident.
During the landing phase, the aircraft struck a child who was present on the runway. The incident resulted in 1 fatality. The pilot was not injured, and the aircraft sustained no damage.
